  PCA - Principal Components Analysis
Run the principle components analysis on the chosen dataset.

  Cluster
When the data are not fitting too well you may be dealing with more than one population. The cluster tool can help sort out these cases.
The "cluster" icon initiates clustering on the full accession set, a set defined by the area select tool, or any set defined in the PCA window.

  Map Display
Calculate and plot the probability surface from the current model. You can see the result on this map.
The map display icon takes the probability model currently calculated in the PCA window and plots the probability layer on the map window

  Report Model
Write out all the model results to a file.
The report model icon produces a report file that includes the raw data, transformation details, means and variances, and transformed data.

  Print Diagrams
The print diagrams icon prints the diagrams from the PCA window. It will print all 12 monthly rainfall histograms before and after transformation, and possible scattergrams.

  Zoom Out
The zoom out icon moves out to the full extent of the map.

  Layers
Control the layers in the map.

  Zoom in
Zoom in on the map.

  Panning
With the panning icon you can them move about.

  Information
Read off information from the layers on the map.
The information icon is an active method of finding out information on any part of the map.

  Area Select
This is a powerful tool to select sets of points for further analysis. It can draw round the points on the map or on the scattergram.

  Map Distance
The map distance icon calculates a distance on the map. Merely clicking and dragging with the mouse defines the distance.

  Climate diagram
The Climate diagram tool shows histograms of rainfall and maximum and minimum temperatures cartesian and polar coordinates. You can view the data in their original form or rotated to a standard date.

  Print
The print map icon sends the map, as shown in the map window, to a printer of your choice among those that you may have available

  Save
The save map icon takes all the layers that you have active in the layers window and places references to them in a MAP file in the working directory.

  Load
The load map icon loads map from a save map file.
